We have been live with Profit Power since May of 2003 and our needs on the system are very demanding. We have 2 companies with very different commission structures and use all the components of the system. Besides the commissions processing, we heavily use the Escrow component, the AR component and Profit Power Executive & Assistant. The information is portable so uploads at the end of the month to our Great Plains GL system or bank reconciliations are automated. We selected profit power based on two key criteria. The first was the platform that it was on needed to be reliable and flexible. The second was that the company behind the software was strong enough to be there when we needed them over the long term. The software-Profit Power and the companies behind this, Comput-a-Search and Lantrax, have consistently met and exceeded our original criteria.

The data is readily accessible if you have special reporting requirements. We previously were using three different systems. Profit Power allowed us to roll all of those systems into one application, so it streamlined our data entry from a commission processing standpoint. It streamlined our new agent processing, and streamlined all of our reports in one location, allowing us to customize reports. Our previous system was web-based, but the technology wasn't available to us to customize it. So Profit Power - it was pretty much a slam dunk. Profit Power allows you to request customizations and receive customized reports, which is invaluable to a company.
